The Parents' Association (Elternverein griechische Schule Bungertwies) is an Association subject to the Swiss Civil Code, Articles 60-79. The last version of the Association's constitution was signed on 11 June 2022 and can be found here. The role of the Association is among others the support of the Greek HSK-School Zurich, Bungertwies. The board of the Association was elected on 11 June 2022 for a two-year term and is composed of:
- President: Dimitrios Kazazis
- Secretary: Fenia Mantziou
- Treasurer: Kassi Antoniadou
- Member: Ioannis Spyropoulos
- Member: Georgios Tsiblidis
Some of the tasks of the Parents' Association are:
- Hiring of part-time teaching staff
- Transport of the textbooks from Greece
- Support of the classes with teaching material, consumables etc.
- Organisation of school feasts together with the teaching staff
- Management of the website
The important decisions in the Association are taken during the annual General Assembly that takes place in the first trimester of the school year. The annual contribution to the school (per student) is also decided at the General Assembly. The General Assembly is the highest organ of the Association and the participation of the parents is essential for the democratic and ordinary functioning of the Association.
